Olivia, who is 4.5 yrs old graduated from preschool last week and it was so cute. Her teacher
(Teacher Tracey) was amazing and Olivia learned alot. They even had a little graduation program where they recited the Pledge of Allegiance, recited a poem, signed the ABC's and sang a song or two. The graduation hats and shirts they made totally made it completely authentic and adorable.
It is too bad she has to wait a year to go to kindergarten. I guess that means I get to practice homeschooling more this year! I do look forward to that. Olivia is an avid learner and we do have a good time discovering and learning everything together.
At the end of the year, Teacher Tracey pulled me aside to say that she was just amazed by Olivia over and over again. That she was so bright, she paid attention really well, finished her class work first and that she tested really well. She said how much she enjoyed having Olivia be her special helper in teaching the children the ABC's in sign-Olivia knew them before she started preschool. It made my little mommy heart proud of my little star. I know I sound like I am bragging but I have to keep this on record, right? ;)

I guess I just realized that Jarom and O would start school at the same time. I know how you felt when O's teacher was braggin on her. I know I felt really great to hear about Jarom from his teacher often. *wiping tear* they grow up so fast!! Pretty soon we will be talking about their Graduation from College, not to mention the wedding planning- wow that is going to be a lot for one semester ;-)
So darling! I miss you guys--and Teacher Tracy, lol.
Ah she is so grown up! And so beautiful, just like her mama!
