Rolling Stones, Sneaky Foxes and Smarty Pants

Michaela. She likes to roll. She began to roll from back to stomach early February. She did with beautiful, proud vivacity and then stopped--making a liar out of her mother. About a week ago, she began her first career of becoming mobile. The day after I smiled right down into her darling, round face and told her I was grateful she wasn't mobile on her tummy, she began a serious endeavor of doing the exact opposite of her afore mentioned praise. Ever since then, she has been spinning on her belly, rolling from her tummy to her back (mostly on the bed) and rolls all the time from her back to her tummy. I've also never had a kid who was so efficient at scooting on her back. I'm destined for a great deal of adventures with this little one. She appears to be ready to thrust in her sickle with her older sisters. This will be interesting for sure.

Maia. She is currently learning to tangibly enjoy the world around her. I could explain it to you.

She also likes mommy's makeup, vaseline, diaper rash ointment, dirt, her sister's eczema ointment, pens...all kinds of good things. It's a good thing that face and smile melts my heart. She really does crack me up. I'm enjoyimng age two even more the second time around. She is just so helpful, she is fantastic and quite zealous at putting groceries away. And that sweet voice of hers...oh delicious. She is still tiny enough that I could just gobble her up. 2 yrs old and 20 lbs, dynamite and sweet little caramels come in small packages.

Olivia. Today, I am taking her to Kindergarten registration. I can't believe I am about to be a mother of a child in school! I thought it would take much longer to get to this point. But alas, the time is upon us. We hope to get a spot in the morning class. Olivia is going to love it. She is beginning to read...really read. We are the current receipients of MANY letters with all kinds of notes from her. All spelled out phonetically. She just gave me the menu for her birthday party...forget that it isn't until HALLOWEEN. "RSUPEE FOR MY BRFDAY..." it began. I guess she is a planner like her mother. We aren't the only ones she shares her artistic creativity and tangible verboseness with. She made a thank you card and picture to a very smart little boy in her primary class at church. She requested that we stop by after church to drop it off--she was going to give it to him in class but it had to be repaired since it got sat on and ripped by Maia. Her father told her "No!" in his best overprotective daddy voice but obliged her. This is the same boy that I overheard her tell her cousin that she was going marry. She has great taste though. He has a great family, is incredibly smart and articulate for the tender age of 6. She'd totally be embarrassed if she knew I was sharing this. Can you believe she is old enough for this already?
